The new Bavaria 42 Vision
The 46's little sister can be admired for the first time at a boat show. And she looks great. First impressions

"Maximum comfort, modern design, easy handling". This is how Bavaria advertises its 42 Vision - and the new one lives up to its promise. On the morning of the first day of Interboot in Friedrichshafen, we had the opportunity to take a look on and below deck before the visitors. The first impression: incredibly modern, comfortable, bright and cosy.

Wherever you sit, you sit comfortably. Whether in the small office in the foredeck, in the navigation corner, on the sunbathing area in the cockpit - or, of course, at the steering wheel. From there, you have an overview of the entire boat and, more importantly, you can also operate it. The fully electric control panel makes it possible for two people to sail and dock the boat without leaving the cockpit or disturbing fellow sailors relaxing on the sunbathing area.

Another special feature of the 42 Vision: all tables are retractable. The cockpit table and the saloon table can even be electrically operated at the touch of a button. This creates a similarly large sunbathing area in the saloon as in the cockpit. If the chart table is also lowered, the boat has two comfortable sea berths in the saloon. Excellent for ferry trips.

The cockpit is large and comfortable. The cockpit table can be lowered electrically.
